Do you own an AMD or NVIDIA graphics card? With NVIDIA you can simply right-click the screen and navigate to the control panel to adjust settings.

What is the resolution configured in Windows? Has it been adjusted to 1920x1080? When the only available setting is selected, does the connected adapter function properly in Device Manager?
