I'm just starting with dual monitors... my main screen is an AOC at 144Hz linked to my GPU through HDMI, and my second monitor is a Samsung flat screen at 60Hz connected via VGA to the motherboard. Even after changing cables to HDMI for the second screen, it still doesn't show up in Windows.

What processor do you have? Does it include an integrated graphics unit? It's unlikely, but if it does, you may need to adjust the BIOS settings—often labeled as "enable multi-monitor support"—to allow both a dedicated GPU and the built-in CPU to function together.

Based on the processor you own, if it's a Ryzen model outside the (G) series, you won't see a display since it lacks an integrated GPU.
