Hi
I don’t see an abort option for the long test in seatools 5. The escape key doesn’t appear to function there either. Sorry about that.

There should be an option to abort the process as described on the provided link.

yours or the link?
Using SeaTools | Seagate Australia / New Zealand
Seatools 5 maybe -
https://www.seagate.com/support/seatools...indows.pdf
identical information, you may cancel the long test anytime. It doesn't affect data.

This document provides information about the current release
https://www.seagate.com/files/www-c...ds...9623_B.pdf
It does not reference any abort.

The instructions are quite unclear. Which comprehensive test were you executed?
- A long drive self-check?
- A general long test?
- Fix all?
- Back up your data and defrag the disk, reading and writing all blocks while replacing faulty ones. Results may differ. This process can last up to an hour per TB and cannot be paused.
