Hello, I need to decide which model is superior. The bigger fan offers superior cooling and higher voltages compared to the smaller Noctua fan with lower voltages. Some mention the original version includes a coil. The budget isn't a concern; instead, I'm looking for the better choice. I'm okay with a bit more noise if it means improved performance.

What about the remaining details of your system? If your cooling setup includes Noctua as well as An Antec Noctua or a Wood-themed case, then I'd use the Noctua PSU to complete the build.
They are both excellent PSUs, no matter what you choose.

The choice depends on which model offers the best balance between silence and performance.

The term "better" refers to a 1600w psu that is mostly idle with the fan not operating. What other power-related parts are you considering?

I reviewed several videos as a comparison of these models.
The Noctua model offers reduced voltages, which makes sense since the quiet fan built for it probably won’t dissipate heat as effectively as the original 135 mm version.
Some users mentioned the original model was noisier when under heavy use.
The decision now lies between the two choices.

I understand.
After watching the videos, I feel I can handle a bit more noise for improved performance, though in hybrid mode it's still not audible.

Anyone requiring a 1.6kW power supply will be using high-end components such as the RTX 5090 and R7 9800X3D, which produce significant heat. To manage this thermal output, additional cooling is necessary. Therefore, the Noctua edition PSU becomes unnecessary and should be replaced with a higher-quality model. After all, the fan inside the PSU serves to cool itself rather than improve aesthetics.

This Noctua PSU is intended exclusively for users who are committed to using only Noctua products throughout their build. Ideal companions include Noctua CPU coolers, Noctua case fans, Noctua GPU (RTX 5080), Noctua PSU, Noctua KB, Noctua desk mat, and even a Noctua hoodie.

Thanks everyone for the comments.
I purchased the original today and am completely satisfied.
The 12-year warranty is just an added benefit.
