It feels like an early access pass for every DLC released for a game, plus it provides a few bonus items within the game.

I've never seen a season pass become unavailable at any point. Most games still offer them, even though they were rare a few years back. Perhaps Activision is experimenting with this approach. It varies by title. Very seldom have I encountered a game missing all its DLCs in a season pass. Battlefield launched its Premium service with BF3 and both titles include all map packs at that price. I'm confident Ubisoft and EA’s offerings cover every DLC. Destiny’s “Expansion Pass” currently includes only the first two DLCs, while a major expansion is planned for later this year plus two more, which will likely need separate purchases. It seems Activision might be following a pattern—acting confidently since they anticipate success. Regardless, I don’t see it as an unfair move as long as the pass remains cheaper than buying the content individually. Whether the value is worth it depends on what you consider important, but I’ve never heard of a game where the season pass disappears once DLCs drop. It makes sense to treat those passes like bundled DLC once the full content is released or announced.
