So I'm looking for some software to record game play any ideas? I've used obs for streaming which is fine but if I record with it the quality just isn't up to par which is a shame since I love useing obs I've also tryed dxtory which has the same problems with being up to par with the video quality and seems to stutter In the video but I really liked the possibility to have the diffrent audio sources separate. I've also tryed shadow play which comes out with great quality but the audio never works with it So as you can see I have tryed a few programs but I seem to have some problems with some of them if shadow play worked that's what I'd use so any suggestions on fixing that or another program to try would be great thanks

OBS is likely the top choice for you. It seems you might have made a mistake initially.

You're definitely having some issues, buddy. Shadowplay and Dxtory aren't working for you, huh?

Have you experimented with adjusting OBS settings like bitrate? Lowering it during streaming is common, but increasing it while recording allows for higher quality output.

Dxtory offers superior or comparable quality to Shadowplay, which is a positive distinction.

OBS should function properly. I enjoy Bandicam and Fraps as well (I prefer Bandicam more). Just note that the free versions include watermarks.

What processor are you using? With a Nvidia GPU, ShadowPlay should perform excellently, and OBS/Dxtory will also run smoothly. Consider using MSI Afterburner if you're still facing issues with these applications.

I streamed it on Twitch, but I can't recall the recording size. I believe it was around 6000, though I'm not sure.

My system runs an overclocked i7 4770k with a GTX 780. Shadow play performs well on the video side, but audio issues appear—your microphone picks up noise while game audio remains unaffected. Overall, it works fine for video and gives me a good experience.
