Searching for the most affordable method to experience World of Warcraft discovered a secondhand Rift.
Hello everyone, I’m hoping to return to World of Warcraft but am aiming to avoid investing heavily in new hardware, as I’ll only be playing this game. I discovered a used computer online for $250, but it lacks a graphics card – this can be easily upgraded. The specifications are: Intel Core i5 6400, 8GB of 2500MHz RAM, a 1TB 7200 RPM hard drive, and a 60GB solid-state drive. I could easily add another 8GB of memory at a reasonable price. Could anyone suggest a suitable graphics card that is affordable?
Hello and welcome to this community!
Regarding a graphics card, if you’re primarily playing World of Warcraft, your computer's built-in visuals should be sufficient. However, if you require a separate graphics card for any reason, I recommend considering an entry-level model such as the Radeon RX 560 or the GTX 1050Ti, both of which typically cost between $130 and $150. Purchasing anything significantly less than that is likely not worth it, as you might be better off utilizing your computer’s integrated graphics.
Best regards!

It’s challenging to respond effectively without knowing the available financial resources. Would you estimate around $100, $150, or $250?
We have a 1050 Ti available at $139.99, and an RX 560 for $107.99 as well.
Alternatively, the GT 730 can be purchased for $89.99 (featuring video capabilities).
Please inform us of a reasonable price range, and we’ll provide some suitable suggestions.
Onboard graphics from Intel aren't suitable for World of Warcraft. The appropriate graphics card depends on your system configuration, power supply capacity, and the price you're willing to spend.
