Thanks, that resolved the final piece of the puzzle. I think this is where you begin exploring Threadripper and similar options to increase PCIe lanes. At this stage, it depends on whether they utilize dedicated lanes like USB4 or if they share them in a way that limits performance or splits the bandwidth further.
