I believe the issue started with my PSU, but after replacing it the system still wouldn't power on. My motherboard seems suspect too, yet I can't test it directly. The model I'm using is https://www.asus.com/ca-en/Motherboards/H110M-K-D3/. No visible damage was found. What options do I have?
You can visit Best Buy to purchase a new motherboard. Try it out, and if it functions properly then consider alternatives. I chose Best Buy mainly due to their lenient return policy. I’ve returned faulty components there, and they often accept them without needing explicit proof of damage.
