I'm reaching out because my mom recently moved to a nursing home after experiencing two strokes. She's showing improvement, but currently uses only one hand and her movement is limited due to the condition.

I'm arranging an old laptop for her so she can enjoy Netflix, Hulu, and some games to keep her entertained throughout the day. The machine runs an AMD 7410 with 4GB of RAM.

She enjoys the following game genres: RTS, RPG, Puzzle. I'll keep adding suggestions if I think of more. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Almost every PopCap title.
Recommended selections include any Peggle game, any Bejeweled game, any Zuma game, and the classic Plants vs Zombies.
Thanks a lot.

I believe Transistor offers a single-hand gameplay experience with appealing music and a blend of RPG and turn-based mechanics.
Neverwinter Nights is a traditional D&D RPG that might feel a bit repetitive, but the enhanced edition has some improvements.
Torchlight 1 and 2 provide RPG elements, though they can seem quite generic with many similar weapon templates.
I recall using right-click commands to guide character movement in certain games.
Titan Quest is another point-and-click title that’s easy on the mind and offers a relaxed experience.
Plants vs Zombies is a straightforward puzzle game that doesn’t require much explanation.
Puzzle Quest, similar to Connect 3, can be quite engaging and addictive.
Worms Reloaded and Armageddon are fun multiplayer options when played with friends or family.
The Heroes of Might and Magic series supports single-hand gameplay, though some players prefer the turn-based style.
Point-and-click adventures like To The Moon and its sequels deliver a charming narrative and beautiful visuals.
Syberia offers a solid point-and-click experience with puzzles that might interest you.
The Wolf Among Us is a point-and-click story with a unique twist.

A few classic LucasArts adventure and puzzle titles would suit well. The Monkey Island lineup, Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle, and others... there are many of these, and most have been remastered for modern systems with improved graphics and audio.
Additionally, the Civilization series are excellent strategy games that can be played easily with one hand using a mouse or keyboard.
