It seems they likely didn’t want you to adjust the block limit in medieval engineers because they probably don’t anticipate you doing so, which is regrettable. Personally, I favor Space Engineers more, especially since I used grid paper for ships before reading this discussion. If you already own the game, you could give it another go, or try it for the first time if you haven’t done so yet.

The issue with SPACE Engineers seems to be a misunderstanding, possibly from a historical or medieval context.

I see, but otherwise it would look quite alike, considering we were created by the same team, using the same system, and all the exciting elements.

It's a disappointment, but it's still an enjoyable experience.

You've listed most of the top options, though some might not fit every requirement. Not all will include everything you're after, but each should contain the medieval feel you're looking for. All should feature the medieval aspect you mentioned. Foundations Graveyard Keeper Northgard Valnir Rok Kingdoms and Castles Albion Online offers Free Life is Feudal Forest Village The Black Death Reign Of Kings Life is Feudal Your Own KINGDOMS Mortal Online features Free Savage Lands Besiege Villagers and Heroes FREE Banished The Guild II Renaissance. Don't worry about the costs—just let me know when you think prices might drop.

I'll look into those options. The three that match seem to lack modding features, which isn't necessarily a problem. They're definitely medieval in style. I'm still not sure if they fit what I was seeking. Also, the Def feature doesn't appear to be available, and you don't have building customization if I recall correctly. Thank you for sharing this list—hope more people contribute similar ideas!

Hello. Understanding. You're right—this area has limited options, and you've likely explored the top choices.
