I’m progressing through the first half of six class narratives in The Old Republic and am impressed by the extensive material, especially with multiple expansions and six fully voice-acted stories available. Following Bioware’s direction, the Dragon Age series performs well, though it doesn’t match the engagement I had with Mass Effect.

Star Wars: The Old Republic, Knights of The Old Republic, Knights of The Old Republic II: The Sith Lords – the KoToR games have a clunky turn-based combat system, though their story is impressive. In SWTOR (Knights of The Fallen Empire), it’s even better than KoToR.

Gothic 1 and Gothic 2 , and the Night of the Raven expansion for Gothic 2. These games are amazing. I personally like the 2nd game the most. You could also check out Outcast . It's an old game, but there's an updated version of it on Steam and GoG.
