Vista used to be a long time ago and didn't last very long. You'll have to look for something used.

Execute run 7, it matches Vista closely but works better on modern hardware. Vista was nine years behind the AM4 standard, so it won't be adapted for it anymore.

Avoid using a virtual machine. You can route all the hardware and maintain most performance. However, running AM4 with Vista will be challenging, but it might work with certain PCIe cards.

Gigabyte backs Windows 7 on B450/X470 boards running second-gen Ryzen 2000 and first-gen Ryzen 1000. Vista could function but USB won't until you install the chipset driver; use the PS2 connector on the Gigabyte motherboard.
