You can simply contact Microsoft support asking if G2A is an authorized Windows key reseller, and they’ll let you know. As long as the person is okay with his keys expiring soon, it doesn’t really matter. He actually received them at a discounted rate.

I started a chat with their 'Technical' Advisors to inquire, but he dodged the query as indicated. I considered visiting a nearby computer store to purchase the code at a lower price than the MS store.
