I recently got an old XP machine from work that wasn’t working. I found the PSU failed and accidentally damaged the HDD. I’m looking for the XP installation media—it’s all I need, as the case only has the key. Could anyone recommend an OS that fits a Pentium 4 at 2.66 GHz and 1256MB RAM?

That's the 64-bit release, please note. I could also look at the archive site if needed.

Archive.org serves as a valuable resource—when you possess the necessary access, it isn't viewed as piracy. The access typically comes from purchasing a license or including it with your device.

I shared several XP files on archive.org without proper keys, covering every driver from 2002 to 2014. It feels like I'm backing software legacy rather than piracy. I'm sending a private message with the link, but anyone can find it. Plus, I included Internet Explorer 8 and Media Player 11.

XP functions uniquely compared to later Windows releases. For volume licensing machines, you'll need the matching disc image. Such images are rare, so consider using a contemporary Linux distro instead.
