I'm reviewing the lore and recalling a scene where the Lich King (Arthas) faced off against the Legion, Anub'arak, or the general scourge. He expressed his need to settle a debt, implying his power had become uncontrolled. This likely occurred near the end of the expansion. The Legion might have wanted retribution since the LK was a demonic creation, while the Sylvannas could have been motivated by the forsaken. Anub'arak’s role as a necromancer and servant might have made them particularly upset. That video is still giving me trouble.
