Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well. I'm reaching out because I'm trying to figure out a solution for my current setup. I have a single Ethernet cable from my room to both my PC and Xbox, which is 15 meters long. However, since my router is far away, switching the cable between devices is becoming quite frustrating. I'm wondering if it would be feasible to use this existing cable and run two shorter Ethernet cables to reach my PC and Xbox. I'm interested in options that cost around £30 and ideally offer Gigabit speeds for now, with the hope of getting something faster in the future. I also want to know if it's possible to connect this setup to my router without too much hassle. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, any 5 or 8 port unmanaged switches from Amazon and similar brands would perfectly suit your requirements. Netgear, TP-Link, and others are all acceptable options.
