Current configuration details: z87-a, 4670k, Asus Gtx 770, 16gb gskill ddr3 cl9 (limited to 8 atm due to failed RAM slot). Seeking a replacement motherboard to fully utilize available RAM. Previously thought about the Maximus Vi but prefer not to overspend. Currently only finding Asus Z87 Pro or similar in stores. Want an ATX over a MATX.

You don't always have to rely on the onboard Wi-Fi of the Z87 Pro, yet you still desire the convenience of overclocking and excellent sound quality.

Many of these products are no longer in stock. AsRock still offers the Z97 model. You might locate it on eBay with listings for LGA 1150 motherboards.

It is unclear whether there will be differences when using a device with the z87 chipset.

Z97 supports SATA Express and M.2 connections, remaining similar to the Z87 chipset otherwise.

i am using the same CPU on my Asus Ranger VII Board and i have overclocked it till @4.4 i have not pushed my cpu more then that the
Asus Ranger VII is a good board see if you can find that one in your area
This only thing i hate is the PC parts we are buying today and every year comes new generation of board and CPu but after 2-3 years if we needed to buy the part for your systems not possible as they dont manufacture any more thats bad its what i think
Suppose if my CPU or board gets dead today then i have no choice to buy there replacement parts i have to get everything new
