I attempted to set up my system but it seems the ASUS Prime Z490-A is out of stock. Now I’m looking for a replacement motherboard. Any suggestions would be appreciated. You’re looking for an ATX model with ARGB support and Realtek ALC1200+ chipset, aiming for a 4.8GHz overclock. Since you don’t need the expansion slots on an ATX board, MATX might work too. I feel ATX components are better quality, but I’m in Canada with a $300 budget. You’re considering the Gigabyte Z590 AORUS Elite AX for $309, which is just a bit more than the Z490 AORUS Elite. Would it be worth spending a little extra?
