I own a B450F gaming 2 motherboard with an AMD CPU. I need a M.2 Wi-Fi card supporting Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth, but I'm unsure about compatibility. Any suggestions or recommendations would be helpful.

Yes, there is a distinction. m.2 slots are typically used for smaller devices like USB drives or some Wi-Fi adapters, while PCIe slots accommodate more powerful components such as high-speed network cards.

M.2 refers to the actual interface, while PCIe defines the communication standard.

It seems like you're considering alternatives. The best option would be to use the official Intel kit. The main drawback would be the limited antenna design, as there isn't a movable external antenna available.
