Hi there! I'm looking for some great sci-fi titles with impressive visuals. I've played a range from Mass Effect to Eve Online and FTL, but I'm curious what the community thinks about recent and older games that offer stunning graphics or solid sci-fi narratives. I'm excited to explore some recommendations soon. Cheers!

New doom is arriving this year in a fresh release; it seems to be a straightforward point-and-shoot experience.

For RTS fans, consider Starcraft. If you prefer shooters, Quake is a solid choice. Destiny also looks appealing, even though I haven't played it yet.

The Swapper offers an intriguing narrative wrapped in a distinctive design. Its construction using genuine items gives it a special appearance.

Star Wars Battlefront offers impressive visuals and is a solid choice for graphics-focused players. It’s more of a straightforward shooter with stunning imagery rather than deep gameplay mechanics.

Portal, Half-Life, Halo, Crysis, Deus Ex, KotOR all belong to this collection. Elite Dangerous is an impressive title though it doesn’t have a strong narrative. The Blade Runner from the late '90s was stunning back then but isn’t available anymore—Steam or GOG would be better. No Mans Sky and Star Citizen are still out. I’ve just begun playing Remember Me, a dystopian cyberpunk game with memory tech and similar themes. It seems promising so far, created by the same team behind Life is Strange, which also features sci-fi and solid storytelling.

Mass Effect series is solid, the visuals don’t reach incredible heights (particularly in the earlier titles because they’re much older now), yet the narrative is outstanding—definitely worth checking out.
