Hello everyone, I'm searching for a reliable router to boost my internet speed (1GB connection). I have 6-8 devices connected and live in an apartment of 100m². After browsing Amazon, I found two options: ASUS TUF Gaming AX5400 at 130€ and TP-Link Archer AX73 at 133€. In our space we use this setup for gaming, streaming, and work (three people). Could you advise which one is better? Thanks!

Both appear favorable in reviews. I’ll note that gaming routers seem like marketing fluff. They simply rely on the same QoS options found on almost any router to boost gaming devices. The same effect is possible with any router offering QoS.

You're using a Vodafone Wi-Fi 6 device in Italy. If you don't need changes, stick with your current router setup. It should work fine unless you experience connectivity issues.

In general, with a WiFi 6 router you're unlikely to notice much improvement. However, the routers from ISPs are often of poor quality. I don’t have enough knowledge about Italian providers or Vodafone to confirm this. I’d look up reviews online to see what other users think about this model.
