I'm searching for a reliable torrent client. I've used BitTorrent before, but it often crashes when handling large files. I need something that works on Windows, supports magnet links, can manage a few active 100GB torrents, multiple 1000-torrent connections, and big files (over 100GB). Ideally it should be 64-bit stable. Anyone with recommendations would be great!

These are definitely high-performance tools. Are you curious about their capabilities?

Yes, I also calculate power; the hardware isn't the issue.

It's essentially the same as BitTorrent nowadays, it faces identical issues.

I usually rely on uTorrent, though I believe Tixati could be a strong substitute. I’m not completely confident about handling very large torrent files, but it should work just fine.

I rely on Deluge, an open-source tool available across multiple platforms. I'm uncertain about its 64-bit compatibility, but it seems to support all the features you need. For details, check the official documentation at http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/wiki/About

Deluge functions well. The main improvement would be a rtorrent with a rutorrent front-end, which can manage significantly more than other torrent clients.

I just tried it out and noticed Tixati stats slow down with a single 20GB torrent. It only allows 500 connections in and out. I used Deluge before—it felt pretty shaky (especially the GUI). ruTorrent isn’t a good choice since it’s web-based. I’m searching for a desktop app instead.
