Hey, I need a recording app that supports full HD but uses minimal storage. Fraps works for short GB sessions, but uploading to YouTube is slow. Thanks!

OBS stands out as the top free option I’ve found. Camtasia Studio requires payment but offers strong desktop recording features, especially for video editing. It comes with an editor that lets you adjust playback speed or pause as needed, something Movie Maker doesn’t provide. OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) is excellent for both live streaming and recording, is highly customizable, and even supports Quicksync on Intel systems.
