I'm making progress on locating a fresh router for my home lab. The current one struggles with full-speed transfers to and from my server. I need something with at least two 2Gb ports, preferably rack-mounted. Since I'm comfortable with Cisco equipment, a similar CLI would be ideal. I've already configured VLANs on my 2960G switch, so trunking would be helpful—though it might be a bit tricky given the distance from my desk. My budget is tight, but I'm willing to spend up to around $200 CAD if possible. Used gear is fine, and if I can find a cheaper option, I'll go that route. I'm open to getting a quieter model and tweaking the fans if needed. Any recommendations?
