Hey there, internet friend. Your PC crashed and the issue seems to be on the motherboard. It looks like you're considering a replacement. The problem is, I'm not very familiar with the latest motherboard options, so I'll need some guidance. Right now I have: Asus TUF X299 MK1 board (the one that's likely faulty), an Intel i7-7800x GTX1060 with 32GB DDR4 RAM, an AIO cooler, a couple of HDDs, some fans, and RGB lighting with a hub. I'm trying to find something functional, not too high-end or costly, and completely compatible with what I already have.

Generally, any X299 board works for your configuration; yet, for the cost of an X299 board, you might obtain a newer board with a CPU that delivers better performance.

These processors are faster than what you currently have, and they’re often available for less than 300e with compatible boards.

Under €300 you can obtain an i5 9600k along with an MSI Z390A Pro motherboard or, if you have a bit more money, select other premium motherboards from this list. However, if your budget allows, the Intel i5-11400 is a better option.
