I keep an open mind, so whatever you want is fine. However, everything should stay within a reasonable frame. I don’t care about the latest configurations. 16 GB will suffice. The i9 9900k is my top choice for future-proofing, which could last another 5 to 8 years depending on my plans. After creating so many videos, I realize I only need around 16GB of RAM, and a speed above 2600 should be enough. I prefer RGB not RGB. I already have a solid PSU, so upgrading there isn’t necessary. My case is fine too. I have a good CPU cooler, maybe I’ll change it just to match the look of the PC. Regarding prices, you’re asking about budget? It doesn’t really exist in my area. In my location, a 9700k might cost around $400, but for me it could be closer to $600. That’s why I’m seeking advice, not trying to overspend. I just want some fresh thoughts—after what I’ve heard, the 9700k might not be worth it because of its Thermal Threading. If you’re willing to pay that much, consider getting another 200 and then go for the i9 9900k for the GPU. It really depends on your gaming needs. I’m not after extreme visuals; I want smooth performance. With a 144Hz monitor, I can handle Nvidia Gsync at 70-110 ping, but I might still experience some lag when playing on European servers. That’s another factor in my decision.

You’re making it way too complicated. Just look at your favorite stores and buy what you like—it’ll work fine. It saves time, and you don’t need to mix ideas unless you really know the hardware. If you’re not experienced, skip the guesswork. Be clear about your budget and situation, and you’ll get better results.

I'm here solely for the discussion, just kidding. You could be right, and I'll likely keep using this CPU, upgrading only the GPU eventually.
