I've been enjoying KalOnline for more than seven years. After that, I tried Guild Wars 2 and WoW, and now I'm stuck in Black Desert Online. In all those titles I faced the same issue... fluctuating frame rates. Especially in crowded or large groups, my FPS never stays steady at 60. My GPU and CPU stay under 50% usage, yet the games still can't make good use of it. I'm searching for a new MMORPG that offers consistent 60fps performance. If anyone knows of a well-optimized game, please let me know.

Perhaps consult the developers or support team to understand the situation. It makes no sense to alter the game due to frame rate issues, right?

Never experienced any problems with Star Wars: The Old Republic Online. I haven't played in a long time, but it was amazing. Scored 9 out of 10 from IGN and 7.5 from MMORPG online. It's excellent. Bioware did a solid job. You could genuinely enjoy solo play and still have fun; the quest writing is top-notch. Updated April 15, 2017 by crzyces Also, it performs very well as an FPS, which is impressive given the game's depth.

The issue arises because these games aren't fully optimized. They struggle to distribute the processing load across more CPU cores. Everyone experiences it, but some users remain unaffected. While FPS matters, I'm seeking MMORPGs that consistently maintain 60fps even with large groups of players.

I'm not sure about their optimization, but I have another choice in mind. FFXIV or consider old WoW private servers.

No MMORPG is guaranteed to run smoothly at 60fps under heavy screen activity, but some are optimized for performance better than others.

You're just beginning an RPG MO and are excited to see how it unfolds.

I've been enjoying FFXIV since October, so I'm still getting used to the settings. I recently arrived in Idyllshire and noticed my frame rates drop significantly there. My system runs at around 1440p with a windowed view. Idyllshire is the final major city you reach in the Heavensward expansion, which tends to be quite crowded, so I think the low FPS is due to several factors. I haven't seen FPS drops elsewhere, even when many players are online. Before that, I played Ragnarok Online 2, and it also failed when there were lots of players in one area.

I'm searching for a fresh MMORPG experience. I've tried GW2, WOW, Black Desert, and Blade and Soul. Now I'm aiming for something new with 1440P quality.

In my experience, most MMOs struggle with FPS problems in crowded spaces or during busy moments. This doesn’t mean every game has this issue, but it suggests these games might not be worth playing.
