Searching for a Gskill Trident Z 2x16GB 3200mhz b-die kit available in the EU.
Looking to enhance my existing Trident Z (2x8GB) and believe a 2x16 configuration would be perfect. However, I'm having trouble finding compatible options like Gskill or b-die.
Both options seem reasonable. The B-die from G.Skill isn’t necessarily exceptional, and running a 5800X3D chip doesn’t really depend on the installed RAM much. Considering the cost of a decent B-die kit makes it less practical these days. Where are you looking to buy?
Memory plays a role even with X3D, though less than in non-X3D systems. It seems to depend on skill level—Patriot appears to struggle significantly.
Purchased a couple more 2x8 3200c14 or similar bdie bins, heatspreader, and stick brand—no need for exact matches since they’re not important. At around 3800, any standard daisychain should function fine.
It seems like you're questioning a situation involving dual rank. Could you clarify what you mean? I'm here to help with any details or concerns you have.
I'll take a look at patriot. Yeah, Gskill always had a lot of options, especially the pricier ones. Gskill is mainly about the appearance and software. I considered it too—I could just purchase a standard Trident Z kit for similar results and likely performance between 3200-3600. Since it's usually RGB-based, I need a controller that doesn't consume 90% CPU! 20240718_232219_001.mp4 \m/
3200CL14 in 2x8GB is assured as the top choice. The cost variation tends to be substantial; recently I saw it was more than double the price for a B die kit versus a 3200 CL16 model. While you might find better options in the used market, it doesn't seem worthwhile from this perspective.
