I've experienced several problems with my current router. It seemed to be stable until about a couple of months ago when I relocated it. After setting it back to factory settings and updating the firmware (believing it hadn't changed since 2015), issues persist. The dual-band performance is inconsistent—5GHz has been unreliable before, now it randomly fails on 2.4GHz. My wired desktop works fine, but I frequently encounter lag spikes during video streaming and gaming connections are generally smooth except when trying to connect to servers. Testing with my iPhone 6s Plus shows a significant drop in speed (110 down, 11 up) when using 5GHz, which is unusual. On 2.4GHz, speeds are usually around 40-50 Mbps, but today I'm seeing 17 down and 11 up. Since Tp-Link no longer supports my device, I'm considering new hardware options. Any recommendations would be appreciated; I'm aiming to stay under $130 USD.
