You're wondering if it's worth it, but there might be reasons it isn't. Let me help clarify.

It's essentially a Quake or Unreal arena match idea enhanced with only minor tweaks. The developers have a track record of poor execution, so the current player count has dropped dramatically—from around 7,482 at its height to just 184 online players now. Combined with a completely flawed matchmaking system, the situation becomes even worse. Their approach to class balance is heavily biased, making it hard for anyone to succeed outside their preferred role. This feels more like a gimmick than a solid shooter experience. I agree with Sun—solo play is better in Quake/Unreal, while team play suits Battlefield.

Lawbreakers enjoys a highly favorable rating on Steam, boasting thousands of reviews. Players generally praise the game, though some note its limited player base. http://store.steampowered.com/app/350280/LawBreakers/ If you're in the US, it might not be as problematic. In Europe, availability could be more challenging. The game can be returned if it hasn't been played for over two hours.

I recommend Battlefield 4. It remains available for PC and offers good value during sales. If you prefer the historical theme, BF1 is an option, though I find it less engaging and suggest going with 4 instead. You can access a free trial on Origin via the BF4 page. The beta version had Lawbreakers enjoyable, but it felt more like a console experience, which influenced my decision not to purchase it.

Team Fortress 2 is no surprise when you begin purchasing items—it quickly pulls you in too deeply.

I wouldn't suggest TF2 until Valve improves their servers. Scouts move around freely in Valve servers, but aiming is difficult. It works well in community servers, though the original communities have disappeared. I joined several servers and found no one to chat with. Before it became free-to-play, the game was much better.

The new cod is going to open beta on the 29th September. I'll agree with anyone that all cods lately have been shit (for me, after black ops 1). But I'm hoping this year's will be good. You could also play Battlefield 1, though you may want to wait for the new patch to come in as it apparently changes the gun play quite a bit.

Hello, COD BO3 seems to offer a decent player base. You’re looking for a multiplayer FPS with affordable pricing on G2A—Ghosts and Advanced Warfare are available at reasonable rates. I considered buying one but hesitated due to uncertainty about active servers. There are also concerns about the game becoming too futuristic, which might affect player interest. It’s unclear how many people have purchased it or if current players still engage with it.
