Unfortunately this didn't work either, the issue is my graphics card is occupying both PCI slots, blocking installation of a PCI Ethernet card—it's quite frustrating.

It seems the network card could be malfunctioning. When did it function correctly last?

I didn't experience it successfully since the motherboard had been used by someone else for about two months before I received it.

It could be helpful to use a USB network adapter. They’re affordable and connecting them to a root port can achieve speeds near 400mbit/s in real life—more than most internet connections and better than no connection at all. I found listings on Amazon for around £10 for a good branded model or £8 for a generic Chinese one. Both should function properly and resolve your current problem without needing a new board.

I believe the best approach is what I tested recently—my PC achieved a score of 2206.9, which is quite strong for a gaming machine. The hardware includes an i5-750 processor with 16GB RAM and a 1600MHz CPU, paired with an HD7950 graphics card.
