I discovered this discussion after buying an ASUS WS x570. It looks like the current online info isn't up to date. The board can split all three 16-pin lanes for NVMe drives. This setup could mean CPU:x16 (or 4*x4) + Chipset x8 (or x4+x4) CPU:x8 (or x4+x4) + x8 (or x4+x4) + Chipset x8 (or x4+x4). The BIOS clearly states the Hyper card works with any of the x16 slots, which affects every configuration.
