Hi, your question about using a Windows 10 Pro key purchased on eBay is important. These keys are generally legitimate, but there are risks involved. Microsoft can revoke access if they discover the key was obtained through unethical means, though this is rare. Always ensure you’re using a trusted source and keep your system secure to avoid any potential issues.

These are original equipment manufacturer keys not intended for resale. Windows might revoke the key, but I suppose I’ll purchase another one for $3 when needed.

You might question its authenticity because the price seems far too low compared to the usual cost.

It's true, those keys often vanish after a while, leaving the watermark behind.

Oh no... (Most folks don’t mind the watermark, but it can be really bothersome if you keep checking it) I also want to mention that getting a genuine Windows 10 key would set you back more than my whole current setup—currently around $90.

Maybe stick with Linux instead? A 100 dollar setup might not be optimized for gaming, only for browsing the web. I know some Steam games work on Linux, so don’t give up on it—Linux is still a solid choice!

I'm thinking about switching to Linux, but the system already has 8GB RAM and a solid 3.00GHz Xeon processor. After ordering the remaining components, I plan to compare Windows versus Linux for Steam and other titles to confirm it's the right decision.

Save the cost by downloading the ISO file and the Windows Media Creation utility. Proceed with the steps in WMCT to create a bootable USB drive.

I don’t have a watermark and I create it.
