I'll need to look into it further. When I was on vacation, I simply used my laptop as a mobile hotspot.

I’ve handled this on a laptop simply to avoid frequent logins caused by inactivity on other devices.

Certainly. The location I visited last month was top-notch, offering a 50Mbit symmetrical link without requiring login. Syncing my videos back to my home server has been smooth the first time. Currently, I have roughly 47MBit in each direction when connected via my home VPN.
