I need to transfer some games to my Ti 84 Plus Silver Edition, but after connecting it to my PC it appears correctly in Device Explorer. I click on it, select it, and it crashes during the scan. This happens on both Windows 10 and 11. Any advice?

Have you attempted to run the tool with admin privileges? Checks if TI Connect CE functions properly.

It's odd how this connects despite not being a calculator—it's just a C program.

I need to figure out how to bypass the restrictions. I’m used to working with Cabri Jr, but it seems it doesn’t work with this version. I’ve already lowered the OS to below 5.5 and installed Artifice.

Do you have any idea which person has more expertise on this topic?

It's frustrating because even with 84 plus and no extra software, some things don't function.

Damn, that's a throwback. Back in my day (late '00s), there was a black market for calculator games being exchanged through USB cables in the halls. Then I started creating simple cheat programs right on the device and earned some cash during testing season. I also made quite a few text-based games. I really attribute those hours spent typing in TI-BASIC on my TI-89 in the back row of Algebra II and Calc BC to my future in software development.
