Are you sure about this title? The only way to prevent infection is avoiding pirated files and using only verified game mods. Windows built-in security and the router’s firewall are sufficient on their own.

I hope he enjoys himself; I was aware of the window alarms, but not the AV system. ZoneAlarm is fine.

Your Windows firewall will prevent unauthorized access, and your router’s firewall will block traffic on closed ports. Skip outdated advice like zonealarm—it won’t make a difference now, but it introduces another way to gather data.

Set up a restricted user profile for him, limiting access to non-admin functions. The built-in Windows antivirus is sufficient.
