Hey everyone, I just looked at my latest board drivers and saw the BIOS is AMD Combo PI V2 1.1.0.0. If I update to this version, will my Ryzen 3 3300X still run? I was wondering if this is the update that enables the 5000 series to work with the B450. If it does, I won’t flash it. Also, just in case, I’m reaching out because I’ve noticed some odd CPU behavior and hope the new BIOS fixes it. Thanks!
Constant high idle clocks at 4.2GHZ cause the CPU fan to run frequently and produce unusual sounds. I fixed it by turning off the core performance boost in BIOS, but now the CPU is limited to 3.8GHZ, leaving significant performance potential unused.
