Hello everyone, I'm planning to assemble a PC and considered the 3300x a solid choice. But on PCPartPicker it's showing an issue with certain AMD B450 boards needing a BIOS update before using Matisse CPUs. Changing the BIOS might require a different CPU that supports older BIOS versions. Here’s the board I was thinking of: [link]. Are these compatible? If not, would you suggest an alternative that’s a bit more affordable but still works? Thanks!

since the 3300x is actually confirmed by PCPartPicker, most of the B450 boards require a BIOS upgrade to function properly...

It's uncertain, but the X570 seems likely because it matches Zen 2. You probably won't need a BIOS update for those, though the problem here is the higher cost. It looks like the 3300x might come with 550 boards at the same release date!
