You're not in the mood for a PS3 right now because The Last of Us is only $5 on the PlayStation Store (it ends at 10 AM PST tomorrow). You might want to check out Playstation Now to watch PS3 games on your PC. It offers a 7-day free trial, with the first month costing $10 and after that $20 per month. You can also get a 12-month subscription for $100. Just make sure you have the right controller, like a Dualshock 3 or Dualshock 4, to use with your PC.

It seems RPCS3 performs quite poorly, even in its strongest moments.

In five years or so RPCS3 might become the standard for PS2, similar to PCSX2 today. I’d love to save all my PS3 games for PC play.
