Hello, I'm working on resolving your issue with removing an extension from Chrome and Opera. It appears the malware has a command that hides the extensions tab when active. When you remove it from the top-right corner, the tab reappears but the extension disappears, making it seem like nothing happened. You mentioned following some YouTube videos about this problem and searching for "Privatesearch.org" since that's what shows up during searches while the extension is active. I attempted to resolve it, but the system detected the virus or malware, isolated it, and deleted it; however, the extension remains present.
