1280x800 delivers a cinematic yet stable 25fps, which matches the laptop's native display. Linking to a 1920x1080 screen brings me near 20fps, which is still high without any adjustments or optimizations. High doesn't mean ultra-high, and it definitely isn't maximum.

Max equals Ultra, correct? In any case, 25 fps isn't a good frame rate for a third RPG, even if it's not too combat-intensive. I'd suggest 35 when it starts to feel okay.
