It's hard to be sure if this will solve your problems. Several elements affect wireless performance—signal strength, frequency, interference, network load, router/AP speed, USB adapter speed, etc. Still... a contemporary Ethernet cable and router or switch should deliver significantly higher speeds than 81kb/s. You should also think about your ISP's service plan and any other traffic that might be slowing down your connection. Your internal devices and links can't improve speeds coming from outside your network.
