I'm trying to assemble some PCs for donation and bought some Dell OEM motherboards. I forgot to check if they need a standard front panel layout, so I’m now needing adapters. The only one available is for the 780 SFF model, which is a bit pricier than I prefer. I was counting on the forum community to help me locate more affordable options for these boards.

If you're careful, you can extract the wires from both the Dell case and the new one, then transfer the new case's wires into the connector of the old one at the right spots. The wires are typically secured with a small plastic latch that you can remove using a tiny screwdriver or similar tool. By following the individual wires in the old case, you should be able to determine their correct placement. These connections could also allow you to rewire the cables separately. Look for PC jumper wire extensions or similar options.
