Are there any insights on these kits or other Chinese brand motherboards? I'm planning an ITX build without high specs and found the prices reasonable. They even support NVMe with Ivy Bridge, which is cool!

I bought several Chinese salvage "x99" kits without any problems, as long as you stay within a specific range. These boards aren't ideal for overclocking and some components are underperforming. The VRM cooling seems questionable too (I added a fan over the VRMs for that reason). Overall, I'm quite happy with them. Check the channel comments, I was also checking the Xeon boards but hesitated due to the coolers.

I only use the 2011-3 Xeons models, the cooler mounts are the typical X shape, not the slim version (which is hard to source for)
