Check for available boards supporting DDR4 or DDR5 with your 12600k. You could keep using your Corsair Vengeance RAM now and plan an upgrade to DDR5 later.

You're looking for a single graphics card that supports DDR5 while also handling multiple tasks efficiently. I believe you're referring to a high-performance GPU designed for modern systems without requiring an additional card.

It's true, there isn't a board that supports both DDR4 and 5 simultaneously—it’s either one or the other. This was a misunderstanding similar to what was discussed in a Jayztwocents video a few days ago, which has since been updated to fix the incorrect details on Twitter.

I understand why it was unclear—I thought I’d found it somewhere. Now I think I can afford to wait and save up for the right components, perhaps until DDR5 is fully developed, since I don’t want to purchase two boards for the same generation.

It's been handled well. Each RAM generation has its own pin layout and design, so no board can accommodate multiple RAM types. Even with DDR3 and DDR4, some people attempt to purchase DDR4 RGB RAM for an older system only to discover it won't fit or function properly.

During the shift from DDR2 to DDR3, many manufacturers offered boards featuring both types of slots. It wasn't limited to just GB and MSI; several companies produced compatible models at the same time.

DDR4 and DDR5 share identical pin configurations, such as 288, but their unique notch placements prevent proper physical connection.
