Windows doesn't have strong video editing tools mainly because no one matches Premiere Pro. It excels in its area and is the go-to choice in the industry.

I completely understand your point! It’s still unexpected that open-source hasn’t responded as strongly to Premiere’s capabilities compared to how they’ve handled tools like 3DS, Maya, ZBrush, and C4D with Blender or their work with GIMP and Paint.NET in Photoshop.
