Hi, I have two desktop PCs: one is an HP 800 G1 Tower and the other is the same model but SFF. I’m planning to upgrade my network with a good WiFi card. I read the Maintenance and Service Guide for HP EliteDesk 800 G1 and they suggest upgrading to the HP WLAN Intel 7260 802.11a/b/g/n PCIe x1, which supports only 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. I’m wondering if HP didn’t restrict BIOS settings just for this card. I was thinking about the Wireless Intel 9260 9260AC dual-band model, offering 1730Mbps and MU-MIMO.
