Hello, I'm searching for a budget-friendly handheld vacuum suitable for cleaning dusty motherboards and cases. It seems hard to find anything under $100, with most options either too cheap or overly large. Could you recommend some solid, reasonably priced choices? Thanks!

It won't be affordable under $100. Consider getting a blower if anti-static vacuums aren't in your budget.

To avoid the Chinese handheld mini type-C and similar models, you'll need to consider well-known brands like Bosch and Makita. This will increase the cost.

A similar option might be available at Amazon for electric blowers designed for computers.

It's not about the cost, but I don’t want to spend too much. I’ve never had something like this before and didn’t want any issues. I already own a blower, but it’s so weak it barely lifts leaves.

That makes sense. I might land on them later if I stumble upon them. It seems like they’re hidden away, so I’ll need to dig deeper.

I’ve reviewed a similar request before. The listings include high-quality images and many positive feedbacks, but there aren’t any reviews that reference “ESD” or “Electrostatic.” That makes it hard to verify safety based on those specific terms.

These options perform better and are ESD safe. You can find them here: https://www.amazon.com/Electric-Replacem...13&sr=8-10

Avoid using a vacuum inside your PC; instead, take it outside and blow away the dust. Without a leaf blower or air compressor, use a small canister vacuum with the hose directed toward the exhaust side. This method uses strong airflow (especially with the crevice tool) and stays clean if you include a bag or filter. The Datavac duster essentially functions as a portable vacuum cleaner motor.
