I understand there are tools that leverage GPU performance for calculations instead of the CPU. There are reports of people testing software like WinRAR password crackers, noting a 14 times speedup between GPU and CPU. You're looking for similar options to compare CPU and GPU power. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

I'm under the impression that you think there is a software that allows you to use your gpu instead of the cpu in any task: it doesn't exist. There are some specific tasks in which a gpu is much faster than the cpu (like games), hence why it sits in your case. A good free program that makes good use of both cpu and gpu power is blender, try downloading some very complex scene from the servers and render it with your cpu first, then with your gpu. The gpu should be faster.

Can you give me the link plz? Then how that guy did those tests if there's no software?

GPUs usually outperform CPUs in tasks like cryptocurrency mining due to their parallel processing capabilities. Having numerous cores is essential for GPUs because they must handle millions of polygons or more in games, while CPUs require powerful but fewer cores. This difference becomes clear when comparing hash rates of common algorithms such as SHA1 and SHA256 using GPU-friendly tools. Mining software can effectively demonstrate this contrast, like AMD CPU versus AMD GPU performance: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardwa...arison#AMD. This approach highlights the need for specialized software to leverage GPU acceleration, though it may not always be convenient. For a hands-on experience, consider trying crypto mining briefly or using encryption tools to observe the variation.
